The development strategy of Petrochem is to diversify our activities and expand our own production. For these purposes, we created a first-rate production base and invested in skilled employees. Today Petrochem, together with ChampionX, produces almost 100% of all chemicals required by BP and other customers for oil production and transportation. Jointly with Castrol, we are starting the production of Antifreeze, which demonstrates the scale of our cooperation with Castrol.
Petrochem also produces a number of chemicals developed using our proprietary technology, such as a popular general-purpose cleaner SuperSaf widely used on platforms and vessels of a majority of the oil & gas and marine companies working in the Caspian Sea.
Our latest development is the launch of the plant for the production of AdBlue - a chemical required for use in all diesel engines of Euro 4 and above standard to cleanse harmful nitrogen oxides from exhaust gases. Petrochem is the only company in the Caspian region licensed to produce AdBlue.
