Supply of Extra-Clean Lubricants — an NAS-class Purification System

Equipment installed on offshore platforms requires lubricants of a certain cleanliness level. To meet this requirement, “Petrochem” has invested in two mobile filtration units with particle counters for lubricants, as well as two filtration units for chemicals, which enables us to provide additional technical services to “BP Azerbaijan” and other major Exploration and Production customers.

“Petrochem” provides the purification of hydraulic, turbine and transmission oils in accordance with the NAS 1638 and ISO 4406 Cleanliness Codes for applications where extra cleanliness is required. We offer this service to all of BP’s assets as well as to other customers.

In 2019, “Petrochem” established a state-of-the-art filtration station and a quality-control laboratory to provide SD2 filtration in accordance with NAS class 6 specifications for lubricants and NAS class 8 specifications (WI, CI, SI) for chemicals. The new building is equipped with ventilation, modern certified equipment and instruments for the analysis of raw materials and finished products.
